EXCERPT FROM THE FLIGHT LOG OF SQUADRON 6

3rd of December 1941
- Reconnaissance flight: 3.12.1941. Time: 09:55 - 11:00.
- Observations: The harbour is empty from enemy vessels. AA-guns remain silent and there is no movement in the roads or in the road, which goes near of the shoreline. The frontline seems quiet. The dynamite factory seems intact. There is several smoke clouds rising from the area and a heavy explosion was observed in Tvärminne. There is also a huge fire in the west side of the harbour of Hangonkylä. Weather is completely clear.

where it has been marked in the fortification map.
