SECTION ENKIÖ

(History of the Hanko Group, T-22005, Military Archives of Finland)

November 1941 to December 1941

- During the enemy evacuation of Hanko, Section Enkiö joined in to disturb this evacuation operation. The section gunboats and VMV-boats patrolled in the east side of the mine lock of Gulf of Finland at the end November 1941 and beginning of December 1941. The section however didn’t get any contact to the enemy.
